The jury is still out on whether that was a good decision.

@sn0w tfw I actually prefer Java to JS or Python, and don't even want to touch Ruby
I think these days people put too much attention to fancy new languages with weird experimental features, instead of using old boring languages that have been proven to be good enough through years of use.
